The balance, quality, and depth of talent was on full display Saturday afternoon at the MATC Gymnasium as the North and South squads split the four Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star games. The North took victories in the Division 1 and Division 3 games, while the South squad came out ahead in the Division 2 and Division 4 contests.
Division 1
The North team used a 30-7 second quarter advantage to pull away from the South squad on its way to a 97-71 victory. Samantha Barber (D.C. Everest) poured in a game-high 24 points on 6 of 11 three-point shooting. Liz Neary (Cedarburg) led the way for the South team with 13 points.

Division 2
The Division 2 South squad withstood a late North comeback attempt to hold on for a 65-61 win. Wisconsin recruit Taylor Wurtz (Ripon) paced the South team with a game-high 16 points, while UW-Green Bay commit Sarah Eichler (Grafton) chipped in 13. The North team was led by Mary Kurisch's (West Salem) 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Division 3 North team rallied from a 27-9 first quarter deficit and out-scored the South squad 27-17 in the fourth quarter for an 82-79 victory. Sam Zastrow (Algoma) and Katy Wrobel (Osseo-Fairchild) both scored 18 points to the lead the North, overcoming a weekend-high 22 points from the South's Ali Wilkinson (Wisconsin Heights).

In a defensive struggle that saw the North squad out-shoot the South 87 attempts to 62, the North finally rallied to secure a 60-56 win. Brittany Kent (Pecatonica) and Shyla Kuehl (Hustisford) were the leading scorers for the South with 14 apiece. Hillary Arthur (Wausaukee) scored a game-high 15 points for the North, who were out-rebounded 28-16 on the offensive glass by the taller South squad.
